Hey! I'm a neuroscience major on a premed track. I'm in an acapella group and several other clubs.
I looked at 35 colleges before narrowing down my list to 12—there was no way I was spending that much time writing essays. Getting deferred from my top choice EA freaked me out a little, so I reorganized my list in December and made sure I could submit everything well before my deadline. Overall, though, I made sure to check in with myself throughout the process to ensure I wasn't getting overwhelmed. Go out and socialize! Be with your friends! Do the important things, but take time for yourself—you'll feel better at the end of it all.
