Please enter your first essay. I always find my room in a state of organized chaos with printouts of legislative bills and agendas of governing bodies scattered around my desk and bed. However, next to my bed lay two pictures with nothing occluding them from view: A picture of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and Ruth Bader Ginsburg laughing at an opera, and a picture of me and Republican State Senator Larry Taylor bonding to his Calvin Coolidge book. These pictures are important for they reflect the values I identity with and while solving societal issues will remain top of my agenda, so too will my desire to make friends.
