tech bro @ MIT
Your fellow international from a 7th-world country. Faced plenty of challenges when applying to colleges. To maximize my chances of receiving financial aid, I only applied to institutions with a proven track record of offering full financial support to international students. (I did fall into the "Skidmore trap" though.) I was ambitious at first, but I doubted myself and ended up applying to only 4 top colleges. I got accepted to my very top choice, MIT, as well as Middlebury College. Unfortunately, I was rejected or waitlisted from all of my safety schools. This experience taught me the importance of perseverance and believing in oneself. As an international student, I understand the unique challenges of pursuing higher education abroad and want to share my insights with others. That's why I've decided to share my college application on this website, hoping to inspire and guide students facing similar challenges.
