CS & Bio at Stanford | Valedictorian (800 students) | $33K in Scholarships
I began and completed my UC application in July, then started working on my personal statement in August (which I continued to iterate on through the end of the admissions cycle), and dedicated the month of October to completing my REA school's supplementals (since I decided to REA last minute!) and November + December to my RD schools' supplementals. While everyone has a different timeline and works at a different pace, I highly recommend a similar timeline and encourage incoming applicants to begin with the personal statement and UC application PIQs since they take the longest and can inspire future essays.
