I relied heavily on my musical accomplishments – I had received a few internationally-recognized awards, and that was definitely the strongest part of my application. My grades at my boarding school were decent, but not spectacular, as well as my recs. The most compelling part of my application was definitely my extracurricular involvement and musical accomplishments.
