I only applied to UC schools and schools that didn't require common app/extra information since I was lazy. I took a large amount of community college classes (enough to complete an associates degree's worth). I was only targeting UCs since I finished the IGETC meaning I would have no general education/breadth requirements in college. I took classes in almost every subject, and math classes such as multivariable calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra. Didn't care for any private schools since they were less lenient on accepting this credit and I didn't think the tuition was worth it when I can just go to a UC. I think I got into UC Berkeley mainly because of my essays, my stats were below average for the school.
