AI & Machine Learning aspirer, obsessive nerd for everything that has coding or music in definition :)
I'm coming from a low-income household in Central Asia, so I applied to 29 schools in total (24 in the US, 5 in Asia)! Even though I had limited funds available for my higher ed (~10k USD), I was lucky to receive a full-ride grant from a private company in Kazakhstan, so that's why you can find many colleges without financial aid on my college list. I hope you enjoy reading through my profile! :) Important Note.: I found out that I got an award only in late April, so for those colleges that provided financial aid for international students I applied WITH FA AND CSS PROFILE. To be precise, with no CSS I applied to: CMU, Georgia Tech, UIUC, UT Austin, all UCs, and U of Utah as well as University of South Florida. Other colleges I applied with CSS profile.

How did you build your college list?
I was building it solely by choosing the schools that gave financial aid to international students. For us, US admissions are a total shotgun: maybe you will get accepted, maybe you won't. But as I sa
