If there are aspects of your identity that you feel are not captured elsewhere in this application, please provide that information below. (50 words or less) I deeply cherish the people around me and many consider me the “mom friend” because I am always prepared with a bandage. My friends and classmates know that I will always stand up for them, especially those who do not have the courage to stand up for themselves. "This or That" I have always been fascinated by the discrepancy between coffee and tea. Both provide a stimulus to one’s brain, yet their flavors juxtapose so strongly that they have become personality traits. I personally prefer tea as it’s varieties are endless and I am not one to back down from adventure. What’s your favorite way to eat a potato? From mashed to scalloped, I have yet to discover a potato recipe that failed to enhance a delicious flavor from within the starchy root. My favorite way to eat a potato has nothing to do with its taste and instead requires the company of those who matter most to me. You’re relaxing on a Friday night. Suddenly, your favorite song pops into your head. What is it? I often notice myself and the people around me moving through life so quickly that we forget to stop and notice the moments that matter. The song in my head would be “Vienna” by Billy Joel because it reminds me to slow down and appreciate the things I care about. Question 1 1. We believe that everyone has something to contribute and receive from a diverse community. Why is belonging to a diverse and inclusive college community important to you? Essay response:
Being part of a diverse and inclusive college environment would give me the opportunity to become the best version of myself. An incomplete definition of a diverse community describes one that encompa
