cs & ling at ucla! interested in running, baking, entrepreneurship, and always down to try anything new (i eat everything)

My college list was massive! I didn't get in early, so winter break was a terrible experience trying to write 20+ essays in one week. I would not recommend doing that. I got my commonapp and UC essays done over the summer, but ended up completing rewriting my UCs as my senior year ended up having far more interesting experiences. Honestly, you'll end up at the school that's best for you! It'll all work out, so don't worry too much.

Who should read over your essays?

I did have an editor, but I found the feedback and advice from friends who had gone through the process one year prior to be the most valuable. My parents also read my essays and were able to give me

How did you decide where to apply early?

I REA'd Stanford, which in hindsight, was a bad decision because I didn't really want to go, my parents just wanted me to. I recommend ED'ing to some school, because that actually increases your chanc

How did you build your college list?

I honestly did in arbitrarily, but I would recommend talking to actual students who go there to get a general sense of the overall vibe and culture of the school. It's very hard to gauge the culture t
