Describe the most difficult adversity you have faced, and describe how you dealt with it. As a biracial woman, I have never known where I “fit in.” Over time, acting differently in order to assimilate became natural to me. However, trying to constantly blend in is exhausting. I have discovered I cannot always “fit in,” and I do not have to. Life is beautiful because of diversity, not in spite of it.
