Yale University Sophomore - Global Affairs and Earth & Planetary Sciences double major. Kendoka, amateur fisherman, plant lover, carbon capture research assistant.
I didn't have a dream school per se, but I applied EA to Stanford because it seemed like the most prestigious institution with the broadest range of academic disciplines on the West Coast. I ended up being waitlisted, but I also applied to schools in the UC system, and a few Ivy Leagues just for the hell of it (Cornell and Yale). Cornell waitlisted me, but I was surprisingly accepted to Yale, which was overwhelming to come to terms with, having never left California but feeling obligated to choose Yale. It was the perfect decision! Any school can be your dream school, so don't worry too much about it, but you may surprise yourself with where you'll be accepted if you put in an application.
